JESSIKA (Jess) DOYEL

Jess has been working as a freelance florist for the past ten years both in NYC and Nashville with a personal focus on botanical masks, commissioned arrangements and intimate installations as well as working with her partner Max to create Forward Flora- an eco breakdown company out of Nashville, TN.

Jess has spent the last three years in Nashville freelancing on large scale events with the lovely folks at Rosemary & Finch Floral Design, FLWR, Echoes of Eden Florals and the Florista among others.

In her personal work, Jess is drawn to the nostalgic and strange, favoring materials that are often overlooked or past their prime. Using second hand materials, Jess is currently interested in giving flowers a second life in artwork and installation and exploring how the transient nature of the materials prolongs rather than diminishes their beauty.
